As some of you might know, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Well, I decided to return the product and got myself a full refund. Fact of the matter is that it's an incredibly complicated piece of hardware, and I decided I'd rather have something I can at least fiddle with should it cause issues.

So now a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has been ordered, and should arrive next week. I'm rather excited about the prospect of having a computer that will actually run the games I've been pining after. Should be very fun.

So yay me. I still have a little present for myself. Have a Deltawing;

I don't mean to rain on your parade (I love building computers) but I hope you end up with a 970 from a good batch, because the biggest complaint about the new 9xx series of cards from nVidia is incessant coil whine.

I had some wicked coil whine on my EVGA GTX 770, after about three months either I stopped hearing it, or it went away.

Hmmm. That's interesting. my EVGA 780 is pretty god damn quiet. Way more quiet than the two 470's I used to own.

First I've heard of coil whine issues with the 7xx series.

There's an easy fix; up the voltage on your card.

The reason they whine is typically because of a PSU that isn't delivering consistent Voltage to the card during load.

Trust me, I was super worried about it until I read up on some fixes.
